Open Letters

It is the responsibility of each and every one of us to become active participants in the political process.  This can span the spectrum from signing an online petition to running for office.  While any involvement is a step in the right direction, perhaps one of the most meaningful and simple actions that we can all take is to keep and open line of communication with our local, state, and national political representatives.  Regularly calling, writing letters, or attending public events to show your support or voice your concerns is a great way to make sure that those who represent you hear your voice and know where you stand.

Equally important is making sure that you know where your elected representatives stand as well.  Without transparency, there is only an illusion of accountability.  As such, I will be posting all letters that I send to elected officials here at Liberty in the Hills, as well as any responses that I receive.  I hope that this will serve as a resource to keep you informed on the positions our representatives take on the many issues that shape the state, country, and world that we live in.
